A native Houstonian, Bernard Johnson is a name partner in Fisher, Boyd, Johnson & Huguenard, LLP. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was elected into membership of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is a Senior Life Fellow of the Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been listed in The National Trial Lawyers – Top 100 Trial Lawyers, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Texas Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and many other publications.

Mr. Johnson was appointed by the State Bar of Texas to serve on the Exam Commission for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization’s Personal Injury Trial Law Board Certification Exam from 2010-2016. He was also previously appointed to serve on the State Bar of Texas Committee on Texas Pattern Jury Charges for General Negligence and Motor Vehicles (2000-2001). Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice in Texas, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fifth, and Sixth Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Houston in 1990 and South Texas College of Law in 1996. Mr. Johnson’s professional memberships include the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists, Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
