A native of Harlingen, Texas, Steves joined Fisher, Boyd, Johnson & Huguenard in 2015. He attended The University of Texas at Austin where he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from McCombs School of Business.  Upon graduation, Steves moved to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law where he served on the Board of Advocates and actively competed in South Texas’ nationally recognized mock trial program.

Steves has experience working on cases involving severe personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, premise liability, auto accidents, and contract disputes.  Additionally, Steves has worked on the firm’s medical device mass tort docket. He is a member of the trial team in MDL 2244, In re: DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., Pinnacle Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, which is currently pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
